I liked Ron Paul but nothing surprises me because nothing is what it seems. Most likely he’s a Shill, Rand seems the same. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
Many people like Ron Paul. But hopefully his constituency does not pay him to duck the issues and just take the line of least resistance.
For years, I was led around the nose by the "good guys" who kept me in the game, contributing to candidates and going to campaign rallies, and soliciting votes.
But then, one fine day about 1982 or so, I woke up and realized I had been had. These guys were just pretending to look after my interests. I saw them voting for port bills, spending bills, and etc.
I was in the pro-life movement for years and none of the politicians were really pro-life. All they wanted to do was limit abortions. Meanwhile, many of them were as lewd and crude as the day is long.
They have sowed the wind. Now they get to reap the whirlwind.
If Ron Paul had integrity, he would walk away from Congress and write a book exposing these louts.
Edited Comment …First of all, White Wolf, you mentioned my name in the top of your article so the claws are about to come out. Lone wolf versus the tiger is not a very good match up so let us start the ripping and shredding number one Ron Paul was never a senator number two not everybody has time to sit and watch Conspiracy Documentaries especially when they’re running for president or they are a congressman. Number three the childlike view you have of how things work in the real world is extremely naïve. If you think someone who is running for public office and trying to get a message out is going to run around with half baked conspiracy theories that they can’t prove and then get votes of the general public You are sadly mistaken. it’s called optics and tact. Number four blowback is a real thing and it is probably the best way to describe how our centralized government the CIA and military industrial complex do things and there are unintended consequences. The general public will be able to digest that . number five you apparently don’t listen to Ron Paul show like I have been for the past decade where he rails against the military industrial complex, the CIA, the federal reserve I could go on, but I’ll leave it there. Number 6 nine out of 10 people I talk to who are what we call Awake, have to thank Ron Paul for that and they tell me this how many people have you woken up with conjecture, and half baked theories? Number seven the general public knew nothing about the federal reserve until Ron Paul got on a national platform in the debates and explained it to them along with how the centralized planning of the government, the CIA and the military industrial complex have greatly harmed the nation. And last, but not least have you viewed his voting record it doesn’t seem like you have or you wouldn’t make such ridiculous claims. You think everyone is a shill and this very evening I heard another very popular broadcaster that we both listen to say the same thing that I just said you are extremely jaded and think everybody is, shill .I imagine it won’t be long before you start saying that I am a shill. you see some people understand that you can’t stay in the tin can echo chamber of people who believe in conspiracies only that’s not going to help anyone except a small group of people and usually it just creates ignorance to the point where they believe nothing, and will believe anything.
Thankx for the clarification about the status of Ron Paul. (You might be able to tell I have not followed US politics for awhile.)
I do agree with you that Ron Paul is far from our biggest problem. The biggest problem of the USA by far is that the vast majority of her people have utterly abandoned the sweet yoke of the Kingdom of Our Lord Jesus Christ and put their hopes in things that must ultimately turn to dust and ashes.
I more or less did this post to make clear to my readers that I see nobody in political circles willing to tell things like they truly are. The politicians either want to minimize the very real and systemic problems of a society on the verge of collapse and utter chaos, if they do not want to entirely whitewash them.
But I do hold Ron Paul guilty of the sin of Pope St Felix: "Not to oppose error is to approve of it; not to speak the truth is to suppress it."

And for the record, I do believe 911 was an inside job

Oh we have been in "soft communism" for a long time- since Roosevelt gave us the New Deal in the 1930's.
