What you are reading is the product of years of research and many books read. But when you finally get to the bottom of the rabbit hole you find it was all in the Gospel of St John all along. Or, to paraphrase Carl Sagan- the Conspiracy Theorist Historians struggled up the slopes of a treacherous mountain during a blizzard only to find the desert hermits in hutt at the summit.
