The Vatican is a rogue organization, and no way represents practicing Catholics it should be abolished. There are plenty of good priests out there to take the succession of Peter and continue doing their work without an organized church. The organization of the Vatican has become corrupt beyond recognition and we should be ashamed as practicing Catholics they have zero authority over us. They are not the holy mother church the holy mother, churches in your heart. That is not an organization made up of bishops and popes, and so on and so forth, call me a heretic. Call me anything you wish these are simple facts. If I thought the Vatican was Catholic in reality, I would be ashamed to call myself a Catholic.

One does have to make distinctions. Yes, more than likely the Vatican was a hellhole when my Great, Great, Great, Great, Great grandfather was born, but the Papacy itself was instituted by Our Lord Jesus Christ. Peter chose his successor Linus while he was crucified upside down. The beginning of the end was probably when they politicized things and gave rise to institutions and cardinals. At this point the best thing seems to just burn everything to the ground and start over.

Our Lord Jesus Christ did bequeath to His Church what we call the "Deposit of Faith" which, as the old expression goes, was "once for all delivered to the saints", also known as men of good will who have the Faith. (Luther was right that we are justified by Faith alone, but that Faith must have as its fruit good works- prayer, fasting, and alms. Of course, as St James said, real alms is supporting widows and orphans in their distress, not padding the stipends of clerics so they can feast on prime beef.)

Needless to say, we do need a priestly hierarchy to protect that Deposit of Faith from those who would corrupt it to their own advantage. As to whatever form that takes, Our Lord left Peter a lot of latitude. But the Church, being Divine, is indefectable, and the Gates of Hell shall never prevail over it. (Although Our Lord Jesus Christ never said those gates would give it the "Old College Try, and go down swinging.) And so Holy Mother Church can never err in faith or morals. How exactly the Holy Ghost protects the church is hard to say. History testifies that even bad popes have inadvertantly acted for the good of the church, as in Boniface VIII's decree Unam Sanctum, for example, or Pius V's Quo Primum, canonizing forever the True Mass. The Holy Ghost does work in mysterious ways.

Our Lady of Fatima has forced the Vatican, however, to give its whole game away. By trying to ignore and then distort the message, it is daily losing credibility in any with eyes to see. Pope Frantic is turning Rome into a brothel while bishops wring their hands. "Ain't nothing I can do."

And meanwhile, everybody just continues their regimen of easy living, even during these days of Lent.

This is not gong to end well.

I agree with a lot of what you said in your response, Mr. Wolf, but I must say I disagree with Martin Luther and most religious fundamentalists. When they say all you need is faith I think that is a folly of people who with out scrutiny take the Bible word for word one must remember that sounds like something a man would say to get you to follow something, I don’t believe you can have faith and be a rotten bastard and not act like a Christian at all and receive the eternal gift that’s not how it works. Martin Luther did that on purpose. He changed that scripture anyone who will molest the Bible is not someone that I would follow any kind of advice or take his word seriously. You need a lot more than faith you need as you pointed out to have the fruits of your good work luther was a subject in catechism I took they did not look fondly upon him and his tinkering with scripture and I agree with their assessment, they were just Franciscan monks, so what do I know? I love your work White Wolf keep it up even when you grab a tiger by the tail. You’re a genuine person and people should appreciate what they are reading when it’s coming from you whether they agree with it or not. This Wolf deserves a nice large bone.
