Lots here!

Over and over again, you remind Protestants that we aren’t all Pope-loving-sycophants, but that the Roman Catholic Church is as diverse as the 10 Baptist churches in a small southern town. (Free will or Calvinist? Dunked one time or three? Fork on the left or the right?) I guess that’s good because it proves we aren’t part of a cult.

I never supported Trump but preferred him as POTUS over Calm-uh-la. But even prior to his coronation on 20 de enero, he’s proving to be like every other pol: One thing before the election, another after. He seems determined to make America the toughest drunk in the bar. With the biggest mouth. Oh well. Maranatha.

My immediate concern is Trump’s emphasis on deportation, and Elon’s role as IT czar and cheerleader for voter IDs. Tell me, Mr. Wizard, how digital identification is not lurking outside the door? (Carry your digital QR code with you at all times and smile at the cameras.) MAGAtards will love it because bad people will be thrown out of ‘Murica™️ by one of Trump’s bar bouncers.

Like you, I don’t believe that October 7, 2023 was a surprise attack. Ha’aretz spilled the beans about who killed the ravers in the parking area. Others have come clean about implementation of the Hannibal directive in some settlements. But what great cover for reclaiming half of Gaza and demonizing Hamas! The vision of the Revisionists of the 1920s lives on!!

Several years ago, I had a conversation with a retired nun, a well educated administrator. She said that the futurist framework for understanding Revelation has always had a place within the Church. If true, we seem to be rushing to the end of the age. Or maybe just to another end of empire.
