How Darwin conquered the Classroom

With Charles Darwin, one can see the Footprints of the Great Conspiracy, albeit much more cleverly hidden than at Pearl Harbor or Dealey Plaza.  Had Charles Darwin been his own man, his book, Origin of Species, would have remained an obscure, curious tome gathering dust on a library shelf deep in the catacombs of academia.  But Darwin was not his own man, but an employee of the Establishment, given a charter and a mission by the unseen forces that preside over Modern Society.

Not long after Darwin penned his epic opus in 1859, a man, born just a few months before its publication, would come upon the scene who would thrust Darwin's "Theory of Evolution" front and center.  John Dewey, the "Father of American Education" graduated from the University of Vermont in 1879, at the ripe old age of twenty.  He taught Secondary School for two years in Oil City, Pennsylvania, and then elementary school for one season in Charlotte, Vermont.  Then Dewey went back to the books, and "after studying with George Sylvester Morris, Charles Sanders Peirce, Herbert Baxter Adams, and G Stanley Hall, Dewey received his PhD from the School of Arts & Sciences at Johns Hopkins University.  (His dissertation on "The Psychology of Kant" was unpublished, and "lost".)  In 1884, at the ripe old age of 25, he accepted a faculty position at the University of Michigan.  In 1994, he joined the newly founded University of Chicago, and developed the aptly named "University of Chicago Laboratory Schools", where "he was able to actualize the pedagogical beliefs that provided material for his first major work on education".  (Now, given Dewey's strange relationship with Henry Augustus Pearson Torrey, and the fact that the "Laboratory Schools" were populated mostly by the offspring of the faculty and staff of the university, please excuse this Wolf for suspecting this place was a Pederast Playground.)

During his tenure here, Dewey published the highly influential and controversial "The School and Society" which would be the foundational boilerplate for the fundamental socialist construct.  Essentially, Dewey argued, the Child should be the Master of His Own Education, and free to reject the Traditions of his Parents.  Needless to say, Dewey was an extreme "secular humanist", and embraced Darwinian Evolution.  Dewey was also the conduit for which the Cabal would flood the world with rhetoric of the classroom as being the basis for "Social Reform" (Code for the Replacement of Traditional Morality with the "pragmatic" ethos of which the Planned Parenthood motto of "if it feels good, do it" is a prime example).

Dewey would ultimately be credited with more than 700 articles in 140 journals, and some 40 books.  (This Wolf will not speculate on whether he was the actual author.)  In 1905 he would be elected president of the  American Philosophical Association.  Simultaneously, he was an esteemed member of the American Federation of Teachers, founding member of The New School of New York City, and professor of philosophy at Teachers College at Columbia University.  

In 1919, Dewey traveled to Japan, and then, just days before the German Protectorate in China was transferred to the political umbrella of Japan, he traveled there, despite tumultuous protests.  Becoming quickly galvanized by the situation, Dewey gave lectures to thousands of students, quickly becoming eulogized as "Mr. Democracy", "Mr. Science," and "the American Confucius".  (His lectures were lost.  They only surfaced in 2014, if you can believe that.)

Needless to say, John Dewey, the newfound "Father of American Education", was to the classroom what the Bolshevik Revolution was to Czarist Russia.  Like a basketball team applying the "full press" strategy, Dewey and his proteges were the Apostles of the New Education, where every elementary student would become his own Socretes and the job of the teacher would no longer be to instruct and discipline, but rather present the Angelic Johnny with experiences which he would then evaluate.  This Wolf is not going to insult his audience by belaboring the point that here is a clear formula to produce an egotistical maniac, and a dysfunctional human being.

Nor is he going to belabor the point that, obviously, Darwinian Evolution is fundamental to this whole process.  Now the universe no longer needs a creator nor a Divine caretaker.  The tendency of all things to spin into disorder and chaos and the obvious broken nature of the world about us can now be balanced by "natural selection", "the survival of the Fittest", and "beneficial mutations".  The obvious implications for the herd is that "nice guys finish last" and "the law of the jungle will prevail".  

Of course, the Bastions of Tradition were not going to take this challenge lying down.  They rallied for battle.  The showdown was inevitable.  Deep in the Heart of the Bible Belt, in Tennessee, in 1925, a law, the Butler Act, was passed, prohibiting the teaching of Darwinian Evolution in any Public School.  Hard on its heels came the "Scopes Monkey Trial".  This Epic Dog-and-Pony show, orchestrated by two establishment clowns, William Jennings Bryan and Clarence Seward Darrow, found a framed teacher, John Scopes, guilty of teaching Evolution, and fined him $100.  

Score one for the defenders of Faith and Tradition, right?  Wrong.  Interestingly enough, Darrow, the agnostic, spearheading the Defense, would argue in favor of Theistic Evolution, and laughingly claim that ultimately, no conflict existed between Genesis and Darwin.  Meanwhile, Bryan, the Presbyterian, acted like a buffoon, dogmatically claiming the Bible was Truth while presenting no logical argumentation on such topics as whether Eve came from Adam's rib, Cain slew Abel, or even how many people were in ancient Egypt.  Moreover, Judge John T Raulston openly sided with the prosecution, lectured the jury against using its power of nullification (saying the law was absurd), and clashed with Darrow, making Scopes the Underdog that everybody was going to root for.  Obviously, the whole trial was a clever, and successful, endeavor to portray evolutionists as benign, enlightened intellectuals, and Christians as tyrannical, reactionary buffoons.  

And every step of the way, reporters from every major newspaper turned the trial into a media circus for the American people.  When the dust settled, Evolution was the talk of every town, and the Progressives, who wanted to bury Christian Tradition, had the battering ram with which to pound the opposition into submission.

The Grand Compromise, and obviously the Objective  of the Cabal, was "theistic evolution".  And the fundamental tenet of this Grand New Cosmology would be the "Big Bang Theory".  First proposed in 1927 by the Belgian Roman Catholic priest and physicist Georges Lemaître, the theory was married to "Hubble's Law", which proposed that the more "distant" a galaxy is from us, the faster it is moving away.  (This assumption, based on "Redshift" of observable light, was refuted by amateur astronomers quite recently, but never mind that.)  The Big Bang really jumped into prominence when English astronomer Fred Hoyle used the term during a talk for a March 1949 BBC Radio broadcast.

Now, the Theory Evolution could safely be taught in Religious, and especially Catholic Schools, because God was still in charge, right?  Wrong.  "Theistic Evolution" is utter blasphemy, on multiple counts.  First, it reduces the Creation Account to the status of a myth.  Next, it suggests that God is the author of death and destruction.  Finally, it negates the Dogma of Original Sin and, correspondingly, the need for Redemption.  In a backhanded way, "theistic evolution" is the triumph of the Masonic Grand Architect of the Universe and, ultimately, Pelagianism.

And this brings us to the lamentable pontificate of Pius XII.  In his groundbreaking encyclical Humani Generis, despite many laudable statements, we get this horrific bomb: "Some imprudently and indiscreetly hold that evolution, which has not been fully proved even in the domain of natural sciences..."  Wait, has Evolution been partially proved?  What is going on here?  

And after twenty five paragraphs of what is essentially Word Salad, we arrived at the core of this document which unmasks the existential and evolutionary thinking of Pius XII- all his protestations notwithstanding.

"When...  there is another conjectural opinion... polygenism [many men before Adam], the faithful cannot embrace that opinion [which contradicts] original sin."  Pius XII has just given us a Straw Man to bash.  He now proceeds to demolish Genesis: "Just as in the biological and anthropological sciences, so also in the historical sciences there are those who boldly transgress the limits and safeguards established by the Church.  In a particular way must be deplored a certain too free interpretation of the historical books of the Old Testament.  Those who favor this system, in order to defend their cause, wrongly refer to the Letter which was sent not long ago to the Archbishop of Paris by the Pontifical Commission on Biblical Studies. This letter, in fact, clearly points out that the first eleven chapters of Genesis, although properly speaking not conforming to the historical method used by the best Greek and Latin writers or by competent authors of our time, do nevertheless pertain to history in a true sense, which however must be further studied and determined by exegetes; the same chapters, (the Letter points out), in simple and metaphorical language adapted to the mentality of a people but little cultured, both state the principal truths which are fundamental for our salvation, and also give a popular description of the origin of the human race and the chosen people. If, however, the ancient sacred writers have taken anything from popular narrations (and this may be conceded), it must never be forgotten that they did so with the help of divine inspiration, through which they were rendered immune from any error in selecting and evaluating those documents."  

Translation for the less erudite:  Modern scholars have determined that the creation account in Genesis is not actual history, but rather an attempt by ancient sacred writers (and here this Wolf thought Moses was the author of the creation account) to "dumb down" the Big Bang Theory for our ignorant cave-dwelling, Nerf-Herding (to borrow a derogatory epithet from Princess Leia) clod-hopping "but little cultured" ancestors.  And if they cobbled the Creation Account from a hodgepodge of Pagan sources, such as the Epic of Gilgamesh, that is okay- the Holy Ghost inspired all.  (Pius XII is obviously completely ignorant of the fact that language has been decaying and decomposing since ancient times.  The Hieroglyphics, while tainted with the occult, could express an astonishing amount of information with very little script.  Meanwhile, the fact that Greek has 12, Latin 9, and most modern languages just six or so cases should tell people something.)  

Meanwhile, Pius has stated that "Teaching Authority of the Church does not forbid that, in conformity with the present state of human sciences and sacred theology, research and discussions, on the part of men experienced in both fields, take place with regard to the doctrine of evolution, in as far as it inquires into the origin of the human body as coming from pre-existent and living matter."  Pius XII neglected to add that the state of the human sciences and "sacred theology" in his time was one of utter infiltration by Masonic thought, propagation of outright lies, and contempt of Tradition.

Perhaps if Pius XII had been paying more attention to St Sr Lucia, this tragedy could have been averted.  Instead, the green light was given to the corrosive influence of the Theory of Evolution, which would metastasize into the horrific nightmare we call Vatican Council II.  And meanwhile, the Creation Account would be relegated to the status of a trite fairy tale.
