About Our Lady we can Never Say Enough
Who Is She Who Cometh Forth As The Morning Rising?
A few posts ago, I discussed Pope Frantic talking about Our Lady being Our Sister, and Our Lord and Our Lady being "blemished by the effects of Original Sin" which apparently caused some confusion. So let me clarify. First of all, Our Lord is "blemished by the effects of Original Sin" at every Mass. The Sacred Host, which IS- not merely containing- the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Our Lord Jesus Christ is nevertheless subject to the ordinary forces of decay- the vegetative processes which are the result of the Original Sin. When I say Our Lady was blemished by the effects of Original Sin, losing perfect Integrity and Impassibility, it is akin to talking about a most beautiful gemstone dropped in the mud. One merely washes off the residue and the gemstone shines resplendently. Ontologically, it is not the least affected by the mud.
Personally, as I have said many times, I do believe Our Lady was the single reason for all else that was created, including the Nine Choirs of Angels. I have also said many times, did we not know better, we would imagine Our Lady to be God Himself, so awesome is her beauty, her power, her knowledge, and her radiance. She has absolute dominion over all creation, being venerated by the Church as the Queen of Angels. All the Powers of Hell are utterly paralyzed before her, and even the Satanists here below shrink from her sacramentals and her subjects.
The Sorrows of Our Lady are several degrees of infinity removed from anything we might comprehend. Were her sorrows to be distributed proportionately to every other creature, from the Many-Eyed Seraphim to the smallest stone, all would instantly be annihilated. What She contains in her Immaculate Heart is an Ocean of Power and Mystery, a perfect reflection of the Godhead Himself. And in that reflection she holds a unique place among all creatures, being the Daughter of the Father (and Our Sister, if you will) in the course of natural creation. But she is also the "Natural" Mother of God and the "Natural" Spouse of the Holy Ghost, which none of us can claim. Meanwhile, her singular merits and prerogatives have elevated her in the supernatural order to such an extent that her glory exceeds that of all other creatures combined.
It is upon beholding this creature that Satan uttered his "Non Serviat" which echoes across the Cosmos to this day. He and his fellow rebellious angels work ceaselessly to frustrate and sterilize the Divine Plan. In our time they attack every truth, getting us to doubt the world we see with our very eyes by submerging people in the world of cyberspace and presenting them with a synthesis of every Gnostic Narrative that has been woven from the beginning of time. Blinded by their Pride and apparent successes, the Devils and their Minions rush to destruction.
Our Lady, just as she was in the Cenacle with the Apostles, remains in the Cenacle to this day. She came to Fatima in this regard. While everybody else was enthralled with the Miracle of the Sun St Sr Lucia beheld in succession The Infant Jesus in the Arms of St Joseph blessing the World, the Sacred Heart Blessing the World, and Our Lady of Mt Carmel holding the Infant Jesus. Meanwhile she revealed to all three children that she is Queen of the Most Holy Rosary and all through the Apparitions of Fatima she developed the Most Holy Rosary into an even more formidable weapon. St Sr Lucia told us- through Fr Fuentes- that there is NO PROBLEM that cannot be solved by the prayers of the Most Holy Rosary.
Our Lady is Our Co-Redemptrix for three reasons. FIRST, because she wooed the Holy Ghost to come to her at the Annunciation. Had it not been for Our Lady's "Yes" the Incarnation would NOT have taken place. God had no "Plan B" from all eternity. Secondly, It was ultimately Our Lady's Prayers at the Foot of the Cross, which, in God's Eternal Plan, won us Our Salvation. From the Foot of the Cross, from Eternity, Our Lady distributes grace when and to whom she wills, in union with the most precious and intimate Will of her Divine Son. And finally, had not Our Lady been in the Cenacle from the Ascension until Pentecost, the Holy Ghost would not have descended, and Holy Mother Church would have been stillborn, as it were.
If any Protestant manages somehow to get through those Pearly Gates, he will profusely be thanking Our Lady for all eternity.
During her life Our Lady preached not one sermon, worked not one miracle, nor administered one sacrament, yet she did more for Holy Mother Church and Our Salvation than all twelve Apostles and the Seventy Disciples combined. She alone never lost the Holy Faith. She alone did not allow her soul to be subsumed by natural events. She alone kept faithful to the Divine Plan revealed by Our Lord Jesus Christ to his apostles- especially to Peter, John, and James at the transfiguration- when He said that "Behold we go up to Jerusalem, and the Son of man shall be betrayed to the chief priests and the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death." (St Matthew Chapter 20, Verse 18) "Behold we go up to Jerusalem, and the Son of man shall be betrayed to the chief priests, and to the scribes and ancients, and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles." ( St Mark Chapter 10, Verse 33) "Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things shall be accomplished which were written by the prophets concerning the Son of man. For he shall be delivered to the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and scourged, and spit upon: And after they have scourged him, they will put him to death; and the third day he shall rise again. (St Luke Chapter 18, Verses 31 to 33)
Many modern Catholics have been fooled. They think prayer is secondary and unimportant. They think they must wield the Sword of Christendom and storm the citadels and reclaim them for God Almighty. Would that God raise up a Great Leader under whose banner we can Sally Forth. (Perhaps He will yet do so- Damned Fool Idealistic Crusades, anybody?) But meanwhile let us persevere in the Cenacle with Our Lady.
Quae est Ista? Quae progreditur quasi aurora consurgens? Pulchra ut Luna, Electa ut Sol, Terribilis ut Castrorum Acies Ordinata?
The Rosary is My Mass, My Office, My Rule, and My Enclosure. I have no need of clamoring canons, election campaigns, the confusing directives of an apostate hierarchy, or the Gnostic insights of people deceived by false apparitions. My ship has one compass- the Enduring Message of Fatima, and one Star, the Morning Star, guides her in this blackest metaphysical night. St Louis Marie De Montfort said that God would raise up Apostles of Mary towards the end of the World. Let us be such, luminaries by our prayers and, when the time comes, by our example.
