A Dog's Breakfast In A Galactic Dumpster Fire
Another Day In The Valley Of The Galactically Stupid
Most out there by this time have heard of the Abomination that took place in St Patrick's Cathedral on February 15th 2024. More on that presently. Meanwhile, for background noise, this Wolf tuned into a video presentation by Fr Charles Murr and Dr Robert Moynihan on "The Mystery of Malachi Martin". Well, the Wolf asked for it, and got somewhat of a convoluted presentation by two priests who obviously think that Malachi was a holy and erudite priest, while meanwhile pooh-poohing all the rumors of his foibles. As is his wont, the Wolf peppered the comments section. They must have read them, for in a follow up video, they addressed Malachi's book "Jesus Now", his possible alias of Mr Seraphim, and his voluminous "faction"- not quite fiction, not quite fact. That was certainly enough of a dumpster fire. But the real zingers start in "The Mystery of Malachi Martin, Part 2" at the 37 minute mark.
Dr Moynihan: "But Malachi certainly touched on the great issues of the liturgy. He became ever more persuaded something had gone wrong in the liturgical reform [YOU DON'T SAY!!!] and we'd lost a sense of the Sacred. He became interested in The Secret of Fatima and the question of whether... We have a question for you here [from] Sandra Houston. Father [Murr] do you believe the Novus Ordo New Order of the Liturgy is valid?"
Fr Murr: " ...yes I believe it's valid... [but] so many of the Novus Ordo masses are illicit but valid. [Fr] Malachi Martin told me the following (and it was amazing because both he and Monsignor Mario Marini said the exact same thing). [In fact] [Fr] Malachi
actually wrote it in a letter which I have from him. ...He wrote [This Wolf is paraphrasing here- but if anybody thinks anything is misstated or out of context he can check the original video, starting at the 37 minute mark.] 'When vesting for Mass in the Sacristy remember to say to God that when in the Canon of the Mass I am going to say "for all" I really mean "For many"'.
[For those of you late in the game, even before the "promulgation" of the Novus Ordo in 1970, vernacular translations of the canon appeared about 1965 when many bishops gave the approval for the entire Mass to be said in the common language of their region. In many of these translations the Latin "Pro Multis" was incorrectly translated as "For All", so that, during the Consecration of the Chalice, the priest says "which will be shed for all" instead of "which will be shed for many". There was much hue and cry over this mistranslation. Needless to say, all these protests were ultimately ignored. Not until 2012 or so, with the "reform of the reform" of Pope Benedict XVI, was this put aright.]
This Wolf is utterly flabbergasted that a Catholic Priest could say this with a straight face. What Fr Murr is essentially saying is that "I know the translation in the Canon is wrong, and makes the Mass illicit, but I am going to say it anyway while I actually do not really mean what I say." Did this priest ever take a course in moral theology? Does he know what dissimulation is? Apparently not. And if he ever did contemplate those words of Our Lord Jesus Christ: "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life", or the prologue of St John's Gospel where Our Lord Jesus Christ is called the Eternal Word, a deep impression was obviously not made. Meanwhile anybody attending his "Mass" and cognizant of the controversy is going to be scandalized.
Ladies and gentlemen, wonder not that Pope Frantic, Cardinal Victor Manuel Fernández, and Fr Marko Ivan Rupnik, have turned the Vatican into a bordello for the Rite of Sodomy. Fr Charles Murr has just given testimony to the cowardice, chicanery, and corruption that has been running amok in the halls of the Catholic Church for what must be well over a century. Long before Lenin arrived at Moscow, the Apparatchiks were thriving at the Vatican. They knew exactly where the boundaries of the reservation were, and the consequences of bucking the Party Line. "You can't do any good if you're ejected from the establishment" was the mantra.
Well, now we know just why we witnessed the spectacle at St Patrick's at the "funeral" on the day after Ash Wednesday. About a week later, Cardinal Timothy Dolan issued an apology for the "irreverence and disrespect". He went on to defend the priests, and said that- whew!- luckily they did not add to the sacrilege by having a Mass.
Hey there Timmy, who don't you just hit them right between the eyes with the truth. "Ladies and gentlemen, we must apologize for the behavior of the Transgender Activists. Unlike Wimpy Traditionalist Priests who know how to tow the Party Line, these people are Loose Cannons who ignored the Prime Directive. We were careful to give them their Marching Orders before we permitted the event, but the subversion got out of control. Of course, we cannot just come out and speak the unvarnished truth. That would besmirch the Transgender Movement. Pope Frantic might not be pleased with that. Pardon us while we try and continue to mash the square peg into the round hole, to reconcile Our Lord Jesus Christ and Belial, and violate the Law of Non-Contradiction, at least until God decides either to issue an apology to Sodom and Gomorrah or rain down Fire and Brimstone on our city. Thank you."
Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us. You are our only hope!
